Vegan Naan from the Pan

Garlic butter is a poem in itself, right"

My absolute favorite cracker has been this naan from the pan for a year. Super juicy yeast dough, baked crispy and refined with garlic butter. Actually eaten with curry, but who needs that when you have naan"

The trick is to mix the yeast with sugar and some oat drink and let it froth up as a small cappuccino before the yeast dough is processed further.

You can use good vegan margarine in blocks as butter. Find a strain here that you really like, because the taste of the recipe depends on it

My absolute heart recommendation!! I hope you like the recipe as much as I do.

Makes 6 naan loaves for 3 to 4 people

Preparation: 30 minutes

Walking time: 1 hour
Preparation:

Mix the yeast with the sugar and the oat drink in a cup and set aside for 10 minutes. Bubbles form on the surface, similar to a cappuccino.

Place the flour, yogurt, salt, and yeast mixture in a large mixing bowl and knead in a stand mixer for 5 minutes. The dough is still slightly sticky.

Dust the work surface with flour. Form the dough with floured hands into 6 round dough pieces and roll out with a rolling pin into oblong flat cakes.

Heat the pan and melt a tablespoon of margarine in it. Fry each of the dough pieces separately with a little margarine in the pan on both sides until golden.
